Genevieve Morton 1905-1996

• OBIT: Nickless, Mrs. Genevieve R. (Morton) Formerly of Saginaw, Fairgrove and Caro areas. Passed away Saturday, October 26, 1996, at the Frankenmuth Lutheran Home at the age of 91 years. Genevieve was born April 30, 1905 in Caro and was the daughter of Harry and Blanche Morton. She married Walter Nickless on September 17, 1925 in Caro. Walter preceded her in death in September of 1990. Genevieve survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Mrs. Alice and husband Joe Smith of Garden City, Michigan; one niece, Mrs. Jeanne Safford of Vassar; three nephews, George Bauman, Don and wife Nancy Bauman, Larry and wife Joan Smith, all of Utica, Mich.; 13 great-nieces and nephews and several great-great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 30, 1996 at 1:00 p.m. at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington with burial to follow at Millington Twp. Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington on Tuesday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. If anyone would like to make a memorial donation in Genevieve's memory may do so to the Frankenmuth Lutheran Home.
